Out Magazine has again published its 60 Greatest Gay Bars in the World list. Making the list this year include three locals: Adonis the Nightclub (Cincinnati, OH), Club Masque (Dayton, OH), and The Connection (Louisville, KY). Congratulations to them all!
Rumor was that the Serpent was raided and several individuals were arrested for lewd and lascivious behavior. I checked — this isn’t true.
Though the police did arrive Saturday night to the hot spot made infamous for its back porch and pool table, the police did not arrest anyone and were merely displeased with what they saw and asked that it end.
Looks like it’s back to the parks, queers.
